Q Why do my heels feel better when I wear high heeled shoes?
When you wear high heels, this takes the strain off the Achilles tendon, thus not causing the pressure to the bottom of the heel. The foot does not have to adjust for the tightness by causing the foot to roll inward, putting a strain on the heel and ligament under the heel, causing pressure and heel and arch pain.
If the pressure or pain becomes severe, you will need to call Dr. Danciger for further treatment. Call our office at (760) 568-0108 to make an appointment.
