Dr. Danciger's tips for preventing Athlete's foot:
- Wear shoes or sandals in all public showers, locker rooms and swimming pool areas.
- Wash your feet and in between your toes with soap and water twice a day.
- Keep your feet clean and healthy.
- Make sure you keep the area between your toes dry as much as possible.
- Wear shoes that are well-ventilated and make sure your shoes have dried before you wear them again.
